After a period of relative silence on the future of the series following the mixed reception of 2021's Far Cry 6, it was announced that Drew Holmes, the series' former narrator, will be taking over the Intellectual Property leadership at Far Cry. at Ubisoft. Holmes brings extensive storytelling experience to his role as Director of Intellectual Property, extending beyond just work on the Far Cry series, including serving as lead writer on Irrational Games' acclaimed BioShock Infinite before joining Ubisoft. This could be heartwarming news for
gamers who felt let down by what some saw as a disappointment in 2021's Far Cry 6 story. This action could bode well for the future of the series.
