| Diablo 4 Developers Enhance Urn of Aggression's XP Bonus in Effort to Regain Player Interest with Patch 1.1.4 |
Diablo 4 enthusiasts are in for a delightful surprise with the forthcoming Patch 1.1.4, as Blizzard has decided to significantly boost the experience bonus provided by the Urn of Aggression season blessing, elevating it from a mere eight percent to a substantial 20 percent.
The Urn of Aggression blessing is among the five blessings available in season one and can be unlocked through the acquisition of Smoldering Ash, which is earned by completing tasks in the free tier of the battle pass. Many players consider it the most advantageous blessing since it greatly simplifies the character leveling process.
As of today, this blessing is set to become even more enticing.
The decision to make this change was influenced by players' positive reception of the experience bonus during the Mother's Blessing event. Players were so enamored with this bonus that they called upon Blizzard to introduce a similar feature on a permanent basis. Although Blizzard did not fully implement this in the September update, they did attempt to please the community by enhancing the bonuses associated with the Urn of Aggression.
Blizzard stated, "We have increased the overall experience bonus of the Urn of Aggression to make the season blessing more impactful and to assist players striving to reach Level 100 a bit more quickly."
This patch doesn't stop at the Urn of Aggression improvement; It also includes various other changes and minor bug fixes, primarily related to specific quests and events. For instance, the patch resolves an issue where the Retching Mass event failed to reward Gold upon completion. It also addresses a problem that could block progression in the Poisoned Hearts quest if players left the area during Aneta's conversation with Vera, among other fixes.
