Outhouse Apple Watch Rescue: Woman Safely Recovered in Unusual Incident

Otsego County, Michigan - In a peculiar incident at the DNR boat launch on Dixon Lake, a woman found herself in need of a daring rescue after inadvertently dropping her Apple watch into an outhouse. Michigan State Police (MSP) reported that she attempted to retrieve her lost device by descending into the outhouse, prompting a swift response from authorities.

Conservation Officers from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, troopers from the Michigan State Police Gaylord Post, and Otsego County EMS all sprang into action at approximately 11 a.m. on a Tuesday.

To facilitate her rescue, the toilet was first removed, and a strap was ingeniously employed to lift the woman to safety, sparing her from further distress.

MSP troopers now emphasize the importance of refraining from attempting to enter an outhouse toilet in pursuit of lost items. Such actions can lead to serious injuries and should be avoided at all costs.

Remarkably, despite the unusual circumstances, the woman did manage to successfully retrieve her Apple watch.
