Netflix has unveiled an exciting new English-subtitled trailer and visual for the upcoming anime adaptation of CAPCOM's renowned video game, Onimusha. The streaming giant also dropped significant announcements regarding the anime's cast, additional staff, and the highly anticipated worldwide premiere date, scheduled for November 2. Alongside this exciting revelation, the trailer offers a sneak peek at the anime's theme song, "The Loneliest," performed by the talented Måneskin. Netflix categorizes this anime as a "series."

Historical supervision is credited to Shochiku, while Keiji Tsuji, known for his work on "13 Assassins" and "Blade of the Immortal," serves as the stunt coordinator. Character designs are attributed to Kim Jung Gi, with the exception of Miyamoto Musashi, which is credited to Manilyn Toledana.
The distinguished director Takashi Miike, renowned for his work on live-action films such as "Ichi the Killer," "Blade of the Immortal," "Crows Zero," "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable," and "Terraformars," holds the position of supervising director for this captivating series.
Notably, the character Miyamoto Musashi is modeled after the late prolific actor Toshirō Mifune, celebrated for his roles in classics like "Rashomon" and "Seven Samurai."
CAPCOM originally introduced the Onimusha series, set in the Sengoku era with supernatural elements, back in 2001. The latest installment, a remaster of "Onimusha: Warlords," was released in January 2019. Furthermore, the game series previously inspired the "Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams" CG film in 2006, which incorporated CG-animated footage from CAPCOM's "Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams" PlayStation 2 video game, along with additional animated scenes.
