The K3 Full HD projector, manufactured by China's KJM, breaks the traditional mold of LED projectors that are primarily suitable for nighttime use. This innovative device emits a remarkable 1,500 lumens, making it ideal for daytime viewing. Additionally, the K3 boasts JBL audio technology and carries official Netflix certification.

KJM, a well-established consumer electronics company known for producing DVD players, laptops, tablets, and projectors, has been diligently developing the K3 since August 2020. Recently, the K3 made its debut on Indiegogo. This projector can project 1080p/60-Hz visuals on screens up to a whopping 200 diagonal inches, all while supporting HDR10 content.

Traditionally, LED projectors have been associated with limited brightness, primarily suited for darkened room settings. However, the K3 challenges this notion with its impressive 1,500 ANSI lumens output, potentially allowing for daytime use, although some shading may still be necessary for optimal results.

The K3 incorporates convenient features like autofocus and keystone correction for easy setup. Moreover, it boasts an IPX5 rating, ensuring protection against dust and maintaining the quality of your movie nights.

One of the standout features of the K3 is its prowess audio, thanks to Dolby speakers certified by JBL, a division of Harman. This ensures a high-quality, precision-tuned sound experience. Moreover, when not in use for projecting, the K3 can serve as a Bluetooth speaker for your audio needs.

Powering the K3 is MediaTek processing technology, running on a Linux operating system. While it lacks access to the Play Store for entertainment apps, it has secured official approval from Netflix and Prime Video. However, platforms like Apple TV and Disney Plus may require additional solutions, such as a streaming stick from Roku or Amazon, which can be conveniently plugged into one of the HDMI ports. Alternatively, users can wirelessly cast content from their mobile devices, PCs, or Macs. Dual-band Wi-Fi, along with USB and Ethernet connectivity, further enhance its versatility.

The KJM K3 is currently available for backing on Indiegogo, with pricing starting at $279. The package includes power cables suitable for the US, EU, and UK, along with a Bluetooth remote control. As with any crowdfunding venture, caution is advised, but if all goes according to plan with the already-funded campaign, worldwide shipping is expected to begin from November.
