This was precisely the case in a recent Instagram post, where Kojima proudly displayed a substantial box containing LEGO's 10318 Concorde set. The LEGO Icons creation was launched on September 4 for VIP (now Insiders) members, sporting a hefty 2,083-piece count and a price tag of £169.99 / $199.99 / €199.99.
For Kojima, an 18+ set like this one is undoubtedly a thrilling building challenge, considering his prior ownership of iconic LEGO sets such as the 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine, 75331 The Razor Crest, and 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade, among others.
However, Kojima's timing raised eyebrows among his Instagram followers, given the subject matter of 10318 Concorde.
