Michael Unsworth, vice president of scripting at Rockstar Games, left the studio before Grand Theft Auto 6 was officially announced.
Despite the tremendous success of Grand Theft Auto 5, which is widely regarded as one of the best video games of all time, fans are awaiting the next one part of the series that aims to be even bigger and better in every way.
Given that it's been almost a decade since its predecessor's official release, fans are expecting a Grand Theft Auto VI reveal, or at least a trailer, any day now. But instead of the news we were hoping for, it turns out that Michael Unsworth, VP of Publishing at Rockstar Games, has left the company.

After becoming a member of the studio in 2007, he spent more than sixteen years as Chief Creative Officer at Rockstar Games, workingOn "a number of the maximum significantly acclaimed and commercially successful online game franchises of all time," in line with his LinkedIn . ,
His LinkedIn activity records card says he worked at Rockstar from 2007 to the present, however now says his tenure on the business enterprise resulted in 2023.
Unsworth started out as senior creative writer and rose through the Rockstar Notes, where in 2021 he was promoted to the company's VP of Editorial.It must be noted that he spent a number of time operating on Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption II as nicely as Grand Theft Auto IV and V.
He also worked on the hugely successful Max Payne 3, as in L.A.Noire throughout his time at Rockstar.
Although the studio has yet to officially confirm his departure, it came as a surprise to many fans as it seemed the release of Grand Theft Auto VI was imminent. It is taken into consideration one of the maximum highly-priced video games of all time.
