Pokemon GO is launching the Pokémon Gem Diancie along side its Mega Evolution, Mega Diancie. Previously only available at events in Osaka, London, and New York, the Pokémon is now part of Global Fest 2023. Participants can also win Mega Diancie.
Diancie and Mega Diancie are legendary Rock and Fairy-type monsters that appear on the platform. Diancie has Pokemon GO's max CP of 3091, and the Mega variant's max CP increases to 4913. Pokémon and its variant Shiny have versatile attack pools that are very effective in both PvP and PvE. However, players may be wondering how to get Mega Diantie and if the Shiny variant is available.
Pokemon GO: How to Get Mega Diancie
Players must first obtain Diantie; then Mega Evolve to Mega Diana. Diancie is the monster featured at Pokemon GO Fest 2023 and ticket buyers can obtain this monster through special research. The global event will take place over two days and ticket holders will have access to exclusive Special Research on the first day, Saturday 26th August. The special event on Saturday includes a meeting with Diantie.
Mega Diancie boasts a diverse movepool, with his best moveset combining Stone Throw and Moonburst (24th to 30th). 08DPS. Once gamers get their fingers on Diancie, they are able to mega evolve the monster via way of means of gathering three hundred Pokémon GO Mega Energy. Diancie Mega Energy is obtainable through exclusive story rewards for Special Research Tickets and by winning Carbink Raids. Players must participate in 2-star carbine raids and be victorious. Defeating the raid boss faster grants more Mega Energy.
Once players have defeated enough Carbink Raids and earned 300 Diancie Mega Energy, they can proceed with the Pokémon GO Mega Evolution process. Diancie's Mega Evolution lasts eight hours, and only one Pokémon can Mega Evolve at a time. If players Mega Evolve another Pokémon within eight hours, Mega Diancie will revert to its original state. At higher Mega levels, Dianta requires less Mega Energy. As you increase your Mega level, your cooldown will decrease and more bonuses will be unlocked.
Pokemon GO: Diancie and Mega Diancie can shine
Although there are numerous variations of Shiny within the game, Shiny Diancie isn't available. Niantic developers not often release Shiny and its unique version on the equal time. Since Shiny Diancie has not been added yet, Pokemon GO players will not be able to Mega Evolve to Shiny Mega Diancie. Diancie and Mega Diancie are just out, so it may be a while before the developers release their chromatic variants. Pokemon GO is to be had for Android and iOS devices.
