The creators of the highly anticipated rugby video game, Rugby 24, have revealed the reasons behind their “heartbreaking” decision to postpone its release. Originally slated to coincide with the Rugby World Cup, the game's launch will now be pushed to the new year.
NACON and Big Ant Studios have officially confirmed that Rugby 24 will hit the shelves on January 30, 2024, ensuring it won't overlap with the Rugby World Cup, set to kick off in France shortly.
The development team offered insight into their rationale for deviating from their initial plan to align with the sport's flagship event:
