New playable characters and DLC roadmap for Payday 3 revealed

Starbreeze and Deep Silver have unveiled exciting new details about Payday 3, including the introduction of two compelling playable characters and an extensive DLC roadmap.

Upon its launch, Payday 3 will feature the addition of two dynamic female characters, Pearl and Joy, joining the familiar heist crew comprised of Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf, and Chains. Pearl, hailed as an adept con artist and infiltrator, brings her unique skills to the team, while Joy, a brilliant hacker and security expert, adds a new layer of strategic depth. Their capabilities are showcased in the reveal trailer.

Moreover, a comprehensive DLC schedule for Payday 3's inaugural year has been revealed. Fans can anticipate the arrival of four distinct add-on packs: “Syntax Error” is slated for release in winter 2023, followed by “Boys in Blue” in spring 2024, “The Land of the Free” in the upcoming summer, and “ Fear and Greed" in the fall of 2024.

In addition to these content expansions, players can look forward to a wealth of post-release updates, including new playable characters, advances, weaponry, an upgrade to Unreal Engine 5, cosmetic items, quality of life enhancements, novel gameplay features, and much more.
