"Expanding the Jurassic Park: Classic Games Collection – Sega Genesis Titles Join the Lineup"

Limited Run Games has exciting news for fans of classic Jurassic Park games! They have announced the addition of two Sega Genesis titles, Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition, to their Jurassic Park: Classic Games Collection.

Previously, the collection encompassed the NES, Game Boy, and SNES versions, where applicable, of Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park 2: The Chaos Continues. Now, retro game preservationist Limited Run Games is expanding the collection to include these beloved Sega Genesis titles.

Both games in the collection will retain all the previously-announced features, including in-game maps and save states, conveniently packaged in the Carbon Engine.

Josh Fairhurst, the voice behind Limited Run Games, shared on Twitter that securing these titles was a lengthy and challenging process, primarily due to the required licensing agreements. Nonetheless, this addition enriches the collection significantly, and fans are immensely thankful to the dedicated team at LRG for successfully acquiring these two gems.

Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition, developed by BlueSky Software in 1993 and 1994 for the Genesis, offer thrilling side-scrolling action and platforming gameplay. These titles were massive hits during their original release, praised for their outstanding visuals, immersive sound effects, and intelligent dinosaur adversaries.
