Fast Travel Games recently teased an enigmatic VR multiplayer experience, and the veil has finally been lifted to reveal “Mannequin,” an asymmetric multiplayer game designed for up to five players.

The cinematic trailer, brimming with slick visuals, offers a glimpse of the hide-and-seek style gameplay that awaits players. In this gripping adventure, the world stands still, time is frozen, and all efforts to establish contact with extraterrestrial beings, referred to as “Mannequins,” have met with failure. Special Agents are called upon to confront this otherworldly threat decisively.

Here's a breakdown of the thrilling action:

In Mannequin, an asymmetric multiplayer game for up to five players, anticipation, social deduction, and swift, unexpected maneuvers take center stage. Participants can either embody the alien Mannequins, capable of setting deadly traps by mimicking time-frozen humans, or step into the shoes of human Agents, armed with cutting-edge gadgets to eliminate the Mannequin menace from a distance.

Mannequins, the alien antagonists, excel in close combat, possessing the ability to freeze humans in time with a mere touch. To blend seamlessly among the time-frozen humans, players must physically assume different poses, demanding creative thinking to effectively camouflage themselves while enduring scrutiny for any signs of life.

Human Agents, on the other hand, specialize in ranged combat, wielding EMP Guns to incapacitate the alien intruders. An EMF Reader aids in identifying threats, while EMP Generators provide recharging and a tactical edge in combat. The use of voice chat allows human team members to communicate and strategize internally, keeping their plans hidden from the prying ears of the opposing team.
