Acer has introduced a fresh addition to its Nitro line of gaming monitors, exclusively in the Chinese market. Targeting eSports enthusiasts, Acer has designed the Nitro XV242F with an emphasis on delivering impressive performance through its high refresh rate and quick response times. In particular, the Nitro XV242F boasts an impressive 540 Hz refresh rate, coupled with a lightning-fast 1 ms GtG response time, which Acer claims can dip as low as 0.1 ms.
Furthermore, the Nitro XV242F extends support for variable refresh rate (VRR) technologies suitable for AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards. It also incorporates NVIDIA G-SYNC to effectively reduce image tearing when operating at high refresh rates. As expected from a gaming monitor, the Nitro XV242F employs TN panel technology. Nevertheless, it manages to offer a peak brightness of 400 nits, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, and covers 99% of the sRGB color space.
