Tuesday August 15th, 2023 is the final day of the Pokemon GO World Championship. During the celebrations, Trainers will see additional appearances from Pokémon from all shortlisted regions. Fighting-type Pokémon Machop will appear more frequently in the wild, along with Chinchou, Wooper, Sableye, Meditite, Wooloo, Bunnelby, Drilbur, Scraggy, Onix, Lickitung, and finally the water/ice dual region Hoenn. Pokemon, Spheal.
Many players will have a chance to catch a lot of Sphale during this event, and it seems some trainers have been trying to find information about this Pokémon and its evolutions Sealeo and Whale. We'll cover how to catch Spheal, evolve it, and the best moves for the evolution line.
How to get Spheal and turn it into Sealeo
Until August 15 at 20:00 local time, Spheal will have an increased spawn rate. However, after the event ends, players will need to search for Sphale near the ocean or in rainy/snowy weather in Pokemon GO.
In order for Spheal to evolve into Sealeo, PoGo players must feed Spheal 25 Candy, which can be obtained by trading a duplicate Spheal with the Professor, using Pinap Berries in battles, or making Spheal their friend Pokémon and go for a walk with it.
Sealeo became Walrein
In order for Sealeo to evolve into Whale, Trainers must also give Sealeo 100 Candy.
What are the best trains for the Spheal line?
Here is a list of the best moves recommended for the Water/Ice, Spheal, Sealeo, and Whale paths:
