The Nurse is a killer who can blink through walls and obstacles, making her very hard to escape from. However, many players have complained that The Nurse is too strong and unfair, especially in the hands of skilled players. This is well above the average of 2.1 kills per match for all killers.
To balance The Nurse, the developers have made several changes to her abilities and add-ons in the latest update. Some of the main changes are:
- Reduced the maximum blink range from 20 meters to 16 meters.
- Increased the fatigue duration after blinking from 3 seconds to 3.5 seconds.
- Reduced the base movement speed from 96.25% to 92.5%.
- Reworked some of the add-ons to make them more balanced and interesting.
The developers hope that these changes will make The Nurse more challenging and rewarding to play as, and less frustrating and oppressive to play against. They also stated that they will monitor the feedback and data from the community to see how the changes affect the game balance.
