Xiaomi is gearing up to introduce its highly-anticipated 13T series in Europe, set to debut on September 26th. What sets these devices apart is their commitment to top-notch software support, promising users a remarkable 4 OS updates and a significant 5 years of security patches. The 13T series comprises two exciting models, namely the Xiaomi 13T and the Xiaomi 13T Pro, both of which have been officially confirmed.

Although not officially disclosed, insiders speculate that these two smartphones will launch with MIUI 14, based on Android 13, the latest publicly available version of Xiaomi's user interface.

Prior to this unveiling, there has been a steady stream of leaks and speculations regarding the 13T series. We'll recap the expected specifications shortly, but first, let's indulge in the latest leaks, showcasing the vibrant color options for these new devices. Importantly, both models will offer leatherette variants, with a striking blue colorway available for each.

While official specifications are yet to be unveiled, leaks suggest that the 13T Pro could share similarities with the Redmi K60 Ultra (although not necessarily identical). This suggests the inclusion of a potent Dimensity 9200+ chipset, complemented by a robust 5,000mAh battery capable of 120W fast charging. On the other hand, the standard 13T is expected to feature the Dimensity 8200-Ultra chip and a 5,000mAh battery with slightly slower 67W charging capabilities.

Beyond the chipset variations, these two smartphones are poised to offer numerous shared features. Both will boast a 6.67-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, featuring an impressive resolution of 1,220 x 2,712 pixels and an extraordinary peak brightness of 2,600 nits. Moreover, they will sport IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance, as well as Gorilla Glass 5 protection for their displays.

Differentiating the 13T Pro from the Redmi K60 Ultra are rumored camera specifications. Both 13T models are expected to feature a formidable camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor (IMX707), a 50MP telephoto camera (with a 50mm lens), a 12MP ultra-wide camera (15mm), and a 20MP selfie camera. Notably, these cameras bear the prestigious Leica branding, and the accompanying camera app will likely incorporate a suite of Leica features.

As for pricing, the Xiaomi 13T, equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is rumored to be priced at €700. Meanwhile, the more powerful Xiaomi 13T Pro, boasting 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, is expected to come with a price tag of €900.
