Once again, a War Thunder player has released restricted documents on the official forums, marking the twelfth such incident as documented on Wikipedia, and the second occurrence within a matter of weeks.
In a departure from previous responses, War Thunder took a more stringent approach this time, opting to completely remove the entire thread. The leaked materials allegedly contained classified pages extracted from a flight manual, encompassing sensitive information such as sensor locations, firing angles, and engine specifications, among other details.
Some users on Twitter quickly noted that the disclosed information might not be classified in the strictest sense. However, as we've witnessed in a prior leak just a few weeks ago, the "unclassified" label doesn't necessarily equate to unrestricted distribution. In the case of the previous leak concerning the Eurofighter Typhoon DA7, specifications were embargoed for non-NATO countries.
It's worth noting that War Thunder is available across various platforms, including Windows PC, Linux, Mac (accessible via Steam), Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series
