While the release date for Grand Theft Auto VI remains shrouded in uncertainty, there's no denying that it stands as one of the most eagerly anticipated games in recent memory.

Almost two years have elapsed since Rockstar Games unveiled their work on GTA VI in February 2022, a move that drew criticism from fans who saw it as control damage following a slew of infamous gameplay leaks. Despite this early announcement, Rockstar Games has been tight-lipped, offering fans very little official information to digest. Consequently, the gaming community has had to rely primarily on a constant influx of rumors and speculations.

Among these speculations are claims that GTA VI will transport players back to the iconic Miami-inspired setting of Vice City, with additional locations in South America. It's also rumored to feature two playable protagonists, Jason and Lucia, inspired by the historic crime duo Bonnie and Clyde.

However, the latest rumor has set alarm bells ringing, particularly for those who are already grappling with limited console storage space. In a tweet shared by 'GTA 6 News,' a reliable GTA leaker suggests that the sixth installment in this renowned series will demand a staggering 750GB of storage and offer roughly 400 hours of gameplay.

While a 400-hour gameplay experience is welcome news, the 750GB file size raises serious concerns for both PC and console gamers. For instance, the PS5, with its advertised 825GB SSD internal hard drive, allocates nearly 158GB to system files, leaving just 667GB for the player. If the rumored GTA VI file size is accurate, it exceeds this limit by over 80GB. The Xbox Series Still, it leaves little room for anything else once GTA VI is installed.

Unfortunately, owners of the standard Series S model, with its 512GB SSD hard drive, may find themselves in a tight spot if the rumors hold true. The only feasible solution to this potential storage conundrum would be to invest in additional SSD internal storage for the PS5 or SSD expansion cards for the Xbox Series

However, it's crucial to remember that these rumors and speculations should be taken with a grain of salt until confirmed. Could GTA VI truly require a whopping 750GB of storage? We can only hope not.

In related news, Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, has suggested that GTA VI will see the light of day in 2025. Furthermore, it's been hinted that GTA VI might be the only game from this developer in the current generation .

Anticipation is high for Grand Theft Auto VI, which is expected to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series
